Syracuse//Sicily

We spent one day in Syracuse…and one night, but that was not planed.

Ok, so, in the morning we took the train to Syracuse which did not take too long, but we lived in the persuasion that Syracuse had a beach, well, guess what, there is no real beach in Syracuse. Anyhow, we walked around and the old town city center is really nice. So we walked around and saw boat tours and decided to take a boat tour to some caves etc. It was not super expensive idk like 10 or max 15 euros. The boat driver dude was really funny and told us a lot of stories about Syracuse and the caves (i forgot all of the stories, but it was interesting i swear). The best part of it was when he made a break at a very quit harbor so we (the people on the boat, in total the 6 of us) could take a swim and jump from the boat. After the boat tour we went for some food, but guess what, in Italy diner starts a bit later, so at 19h and we were super hungry at like 17h. So as everything was basically closed, we went to a fast food pasta restaurant which is like the Italian Mc Donald´s for pasta. It was fine tho. Cannot remember the name, but that is fine because if you can find a nice restaurant, do not go to a chain restaurant place. Then we took a walk and Idgie wanted to sit and drink a cocktail and i was like well ok lets do it but lets also take the train soon, cause there are not so much trains and the last one is at like 21h. So we decided to take the last train and at 20:30 we were at the station and the dude there was like oh, no there is no train for today to Catania (cause we were still staying in Catania). So like wtf and then we wanted to take the bus, but guess what there was no bus to Catania either. So, guess what, we slept at the train station and it was creepy and there was nobody and i was fuking sleepy and then a dude came who was staring at us all the time and I was super scared and yeah in the morning we took the first bus, cause the train was not going (!?) super weird. Anyhow I was a bit confused and mad cause nobody spoke English and all of  a sudden there was no train…but ok we survived. Anyhow, Syracuse is cool.
